As an Intermediate Designer, Arely is motivated by knowing that architecture and the built environment can greatly impact and influence people's lives. She is highly passionate about architecture and the pursuit of further education so she can continuously provide better solutions and outcomes for spaces. With a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from UAM-X and a Diploma of Architectural Technologies from SAIT, Arely has formed the idea and is driven by the belief that spaces should enhance safety, mental health, and overall well-being. Through her academic journey, her achievements include a Student Award from the Alberta Association of Architects and an Honorable Mention in the House Design Competition by BILD Calgary Region, and a top 10 finish for the First Nation Housing Project at SAIT. Arely's favorite FAAS project includes our 9+9 townhouse development in South Calgary that provides housing solutions for the missing middle segment in the city. What she Arely enjoys most about FAAS is the people, the collective passion for architecture, the teams energy, the beautiful work environment, and the daily challenges that foster growth. Outside of work, Arely finds joy in hiking, appreciating nature, exercising, baking, and enjoying quality time with her family.
