As an Intermediate Architectural Technologist, Erick provides support to the design team by producing technical drawings and documents to ensure that the design of buildings are feasible and realistic. With a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from The National University of Colombia, Erick decided to pursue further academic architectural studies by attending both the UNIBO and SSPA to write a thesis about recycling heritage buildings in historical urban center and to study Management & Planning of Urban and Regional Developments. His innovative approach is evident through accolades like the Smart & Innovate City Initiatives Award and the Haworth Group and Haworth International Award. Currently, Erick is now completing his Architectural Technologies diploma at SAIT. For Erick, the people at the firm is his favourite part of the job, he enjoys being a part of a collaborative environment where he is supported and encouraged to learn by interacting with the team. Erick's favorite FAAS project is Uni 23, our mixed-use development located in the community of Banff Trail as it showcases his passion for exploring unique building facades and building shapes. Beyond his professional achievements, Erick has a diverse set of interests, ranging from exploring tech gadgets and capturing aerial views with drones to sports like indoor soccer and F1. He also has a love for video games, mountain activities, and is currently focused on learning about Canadian culture and history.
