As one of our Junior Designers, Gurkaran, integrates creativity and practicality in a variety of projects and programs, where he works on project designs and ensuring deadlines are met. He began his architecture journey by earning his Architectural Technology Diploma from SAIT, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies, and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Calgary, Gurkaran is now currently registered as an Intern Architect with the Alberta Association of Architects. His favorite projects at FAAS so far have been the Townhouse development with 8 units and secondary suites on 16th Street and our 10-Storey Multi-Family Unit in Campbell River, BC. Gurkaran’s favourite thing about FAAS is the people, where he thrives alongside talented and encouraging individuals. Beyond the studio, Gurkaran's interests include music, art, cars, photography, and fashion.
