Julie, Design Manager at FAAS, specializes in leading large-scale development projects on complex urban sites. As the Design Manager, she is responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex, large-scale projects from early feasibility through to construction, with a focus on multi-family, civic, and institutional developments. Julie holds a Masters of Architecture from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with minors in Urban Studies and Architectural Studies. Julie brings a unique perspective to her projects as Registered Urban Planner (RPP, MCIP), an Intern Architect (AAA) nearing registration, and a LEED Green Associate with the Canada Green Building Council. Every project for Julie is her favourite if there is room for design. The things she likes most about being a part of FAAS is the culture, the enthusiasm people have about their work and the office space. Outside of work, she remains busy, from gardening to mountain biking to backpacking and snowboarding. One day she does dream about moving to Sicily to start a winery and to become an artist. Julie's personality and her love for her work makes her an integral part of the FAAS team.
